Unlike traditional steel or wooden ribs, this umbrella has .5" diameter fiberglass ribs with nylon joints, hubs, and end tips. This allows the canopy to absorb the incoming wind to prevent breakage and permanent bending. The shade is made from commercial quality marine grade fabric from Outdura or Sunbrella, that will stay beautiful much longer than cheaper retail brands. Fashioned with a decorative valance and single vent top for trapped air to escape. The natural looking two-piece wooden pole has a pointed tip for easy beach set up.
