The canopy is supported by solid .75" diameter fiberglass ribs molded with nylon joints and end tips that are both incredibly strong and flexible. Fiberglass ribs are designed to absorb strong winds without breaking or permanently damaging the umbrella, making it more practical than steel or wood. Made from long lasting marine grade fabric by Outdura or Sunbrella, the canopy is designed to resist the bleaching effects from the sun's UV rays. A wind vent opening has been added to the canopy top that allows the wind to escape, keeping the umbrella from flying away. The decorative 1.75" diameter aluminum pole is designed to simulate a beautiful wood finish, that is much lighter than wood and won't rot, crack, or rust. Comes with a push-up and pin feature. All stainless steel hardware included.
