Choose between two hardy wood types for the bench frame: the affordable heavy-duty knot-free yellow pine or the even more durable western red pine. Both wood options will last years indoor and outdoor when stained with the all-natural Natural-Kote soy-based stain. Natural-Kote is an eco-friendly stain that protects the look and quality of the wood from such elements as rain and snow. A bright acrylic exterior paint can be substituted instead of the stain on yellow pine, however, this is only encouraged if the bench remains under a covered setting, such as a canopy or pavilion. An unfinished version of the bench is available at a reduced price for those who would like to paint or stain the bench themselves, giving it a more custom look. The bench comes in 5 and 6 ft. lengths, making it a perfect addition to parks, gardens, and schools.
