Backless Pedestal Bench for Open, Two-Sided Seating
Provide generous seating without the visual bulk of a backrest with the RHINO 8 Ft. Thermoplastic Coated Expanded Steel Backless Pedestal Bench. Its open design allows convenient access from either side, while the 8-foot length accommodates larger groups in busy commercial outdoor environments.
The 8-foot seat features 3/4" #9-gauge expanded steel protected by RHINO polyolefin thermoplastic coating. The open steel pattern promotes drainage and allows loose debris to pass through, while the protective coating helps resist marring and weather-related wear.
A heavy-duty pedestal frame provides substantial support beneath the seat. The frame incorporates 2-3/8" O.D. Schedule 40 steel pipe, along with additional steel bracing for reinforcement. Choose between surface-mount or in-ground installation to securely anchor the bench according to site requirements.
The combination of an extended backless seat and permanent pedestal mounting makes this RHINO bench a practical choice for pedestrian corridors, recreation complexes, and outdoor waiting areas where durable seating and easy access are priorities.
