Objects - Left panel navigation

TheObjectssection in the Left Panel allows users to insertbasic geometric elementssuch as rectangles, circles, and lines into their deck layout. These objects help represent structural components, decorative areas, or placeholders for products. They form the foundation of layout planning, allowing users to define zones, shapes, and alignments before adding actual furniture or products.

Objects are fully customizable - users can resize, rotate, recolor, and layer them to create detailed and visually organized designs.

  1. Provides access tobasic shape toolsincluding rectangle, circle, and line objects.
  2. Objects can represent structural or conceptual areas such as platforms, walkways, garden zones, or deck boundaries.
  3. Fullycustomizable- users can adjust size, position, rotation, and color for visual accuracy.
  4. Supportslayer control, allowing objects to be arranged above or below other elements.
  5. Works withColor,Opacity, andRulertools for enhanced design precision.
  6. Can be duplicated, aligned, and grouped to create complex multi-shape designs.
  7. All modifications update instantly, helping users visualize layout changes in real time.
  8. Ideal for creating clean layout frameworks before product placement.

How to Use:

  1. Open theLeft Paneland click onObjects.
  2. Select the desired object type (e.g., rectangle, circle, or line).
  3. Click and drag on the canvas to draw the selected object.
  4. Adjust the size by dragging the corner handles.
  5. Rotate the object using the rotation handle at the top of the shape.
  6. Use the floating toolbar beneath the object for quick actions:
    • Duplicate– Create a copy of the selected object.
    • Info (i)– Open the shape’s properties for dimension or color adjustment.
    • Bring Forward / Send Backward– Control the layer order of the object.
  7. Modify thecolorandopacityusing the top toolbar options to match your design intent.
  8. Use theRuler Toolfor precise alignment and to ensure proportional spacing between objects.
  9. Continue adding or editing objects to complete your base layout before inserting real products.
