Furniture Leisure’s Deck Designer tool puts customers in control, giving them the ability to experiment with layouts, explore options, and feel confident in what they’re ordering. By creating a more precise visual plan before they order, Deck Designer helps to avoid over- or under-purchasing and brings consistency and efficiency to the whole process.

Build Designs to Scale with Virtually No Effort Required

Customers have two ways to create their deck design: the first option is to draw their deck space using Deck Designer’s shape tools and typing in their space’s exact measurements. This drawn layout enables more accurate planning and provides a reliable foundation for placing our furniture items within their deck or patio area.

The second layout option is to upload an aerial view image of their outdoor space. Customers, however, will need to know their deck dimensions and resize the image manually to match the grid. Once the layout is built or uploaded, customers can begin choosing and placing products directly onto their layout. 

What separates Deck Designer from most other online planners is the accuracy of its product dimensions to customer layouts. Every product is scaled to real dimensions, so customers get a true-to-size layout as they design. That accuracy, paired with the ability to drag, rotate, and experiment freely, gives users a clearer picture of how their furniture will actually fit and function in their space.

This intuitive and user-friendly tool can be used by anyone who visits the Furniture Leisure site, but users who create an account are able to unlock important tool features and functionality like saving layouts, printing plans, and adding products to their cart. Registered users can also easily access and manage their projects until they are ready to move forward.

Remove Ambiguity During the Design Process  

It can sometimes be hard for customers to verbalize exactly what they are looking for to furnish their outdoor space. Likewise, it can be challenging for our team members to understand their intentions. Deck Designer eliminates any confusion by enabling customers to build their ideas within the tool and then pass them on to the Furniture Leisure staff to review. 

“The tool gives our team a clearer, more detailed view of each customer’s project from the start. Once the customer is happy with their furniture layout, they can add the items from Deck Designer to their shopping cart and have our sales team review their cart to confirm quantities, answer any other questions, or help finalize the order before the customer checks out.
