The seat and back are constructed from 1/2" punched holes, #11 perforated steel and protected by a thermoplastic polyethylene coating. Designed for outdoor exposure, the coated steel seating surfaces combine lasting protection with a perforated design that allows rainwater to pass through rather than collect on the bench.
A sturdy cast iron frame gives the Austin bench its substantial appearance and dependable support. The construction is reinforced with 1-1/2" solid steel flat bar bracing, while stainless steel hardware adds durability at key connection points. An architectural-grade, electrostatically applied powder coat protects the cast iron frame and provides a finished appearance.
