What type of fuel do fire pit tables and heaters use?
Our firepit tables and heaters are run on standard propane gas but many come with the option to convert to natural gas if desired. Depending on the size of the fire pit table will depend on the size and longevity of the propane tank. To keep things simple, Furniture Leisure offers patio heaters and fire tables that are compatible with 5lb tanks.
Do I need to winterize a fire table?
Yes, if you decide not to use your fire table during the winter you should winterize it. Winterizing helps the fire table to withstand cold weather and last longer. This can be accomplished by cleaning the burner and control system before the cold weather sets in. Close the gas valve and remove the propane tank or shut off the gas line for natural gas. Remove the glass shield and fire glass then cover the central ignite element with a waterproof cover or lid to keep it safe.
