The Charles Mound play structure is designed to provide enjoyment for children of all physical abilities. With three large ramps, it is accessible for wheelchair users and also allows plenty of room for walking and running. The structure's unique zig-zag shape not only saves space, but also adds excitement as children race around it. Additionally, there are large areas for wheelchair users to turn around and for children to gather and socialize. One notable feature is the series of 25 winding Pebble Climber Steps that connect two points of the zig-zag. The play system also includes various activity panels, such as a Gear Panel and Tic-Tac-Toe Panel, to ensure that kids always have something fun to do. The play structure meets national standards for safety and has an age range of 2 to 12 years. It can accommodate 54-60 children at a time and has a fall height of 36 inches. The post diameter is 4.5 inches and the recommended safety zone is 42' 2" x 47' 6". It is also ADA accessible, with 11 elevated components or 6 ground level components.
