Park benches are probably one of the most commonly overlooked piece of furniture. When you go enjoy a park or bike trail the bench just shows up. We take it for granted, however, the parks and recreation departments plan to give the public places just the right placement for rest. Benches are used for bus stops, bike trails, walking trails, ball parks, public gardens, bus stations, train stations and more. Colonial America had city benches with heavy cast iron that are beautiful creations. Almost every commercial building in the world uses benches. Now just consider how common this piece of furniture really is. You might briefly rest and just move on to the next resting spot. As the baby boomers age and there is such a large segment of the population of older Americans benches are bound to continue to line restaurants for waiting patrons and be popular.
